- Master safety regulations for roofing work at height
- Install metal roofing, tiles and weatherproofing systems that protect communities

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Our roofing apprentice training is designed for people already working as apprentices with roofing companies. Here’s what else you’ll need:
- Qualified supervisors who can sign off on your work
- Commitment to complete required training and assessments

YEAR 1
Receive welcome pack
Start learning on the job
Arrange and attend First Aid (Level 2) Course
Arrange and attend Height Safety Course
Attend Block Course A
Start Year 1 on-job assessments
Complete Year 1 on-job assessments
Confirm progress to Year 2
YEAR 2
Start Year 2 on-job assessments
Attend Block Course B – Generic OR Block Course B – Membrane Strand only
Attend Block Course C – profile and metal roof and wall cladding only
Complete Year 2 on-job assessments
YEAR 3
Confirm progress to Year 3
Start Year 3 on-job assessments
Attend Block Course D
Final practical on-job assessment – metal tile/concrete or clay/shingle or slate strands
Complete Year 3 on-job assessments – profiled metal roof and wall cladding/membrane strands
Attend Block Course E – PMRWC only OR attend Block Course E – Membrane only
