We deliver both off-job and on-job training that teaches the skills actually needed on the job site.
Sign up your next apprentice with us and pay zero training fees until February 2027. You provide the on-the-job experience, we handle the formal training.
Our training environments match what your apprentices will face on the job. They train on modern equipment, not outdated classroom setups.
Employers know us, apprentices talk about us. We’ve trained thousands of electricians who keep New Zealand running.
Your apprentice completes their electrical engineering qualification over three to four years through structured block courses and on-site assessments.
We handle formal training while you provide practical work experience and mentoring. A partnership with Skills Trades Training delivers multiple advantages for your business:
Working with New Zealand’s most experienced electrical training provider delivers measurable results. Apprentices who train with Skills Trades Training develop confidence and skills, returning from training ready to contribute on site.
These electrician qualifications enable them to work confidently across residential, commercial and industrial projects. Structured career development helps apprentices see long-term value in the trade, so they’re more invested in doing good work for your business.
Keep your qualified electricians current with electrical regulations and new technologies. Our electrician courses ensure your team maintains electrical safety certificates and stays compliant with EWRB requirements.
