Who these courses are for
- These courses are for electrical workers working toward EWRB registration as an EAS or EST. They are not suitable for people wanting to learn electrical basics with no intention of pursuing registration.
- You must meet the EWRB eligibility requirements for registration and be able to safely participate in practical workshop activities.
- EST upgrade learners must provide evidence of current EAS registration or prior EAS course completion at the time of enrolment.
GETTING YOUR REGISTRATION AND LICENCE
Here's what it takes to get registered and licensed, from safety training through to holding your practising licence.
1. Safety training
Complete Safety Training for Limited Certificates (TLC) before you start.
2. EAS or EST course
Complete your online theory modules and block course or night classes, then sit your exam with ASPEQ.
3. Competency refresher
Complete the EWRB e-learning module and the Competence Programme.
4. Apply for registration and licence
Apply to the EWRB for your registration and practising licence.
